Our Leadership

  • Matt Christensen

    President & Board Member

Matt lives in West Des Moines with his wife Jessica and their daughters, Claire and Paige, who attend Jordan Creek Elementary School.

As a high school team and club volleyball player in his youth, Matt developed a passion and love for the game of volleyball that exists still today.

Matt is a seasoned executive in the insurance industry and also serves on the board of Directors of Junior Achievement of Central Iowa.

Matt hopes, through Set It Off Volleyball, to provide a nurturing environment for young players to develop a love of the game that will follow them wherever they go in life.

  • Morgan Elliott

    Secretary & Board Member

Morgan lives in West Des Moines with her husband Sam and their three daughters: Parker, Blair, and Campbell. A lifelong sports fan, she especially loves cheering for the Hawkeyes, but these days, her heart is with her daughters and their sports activities.

Having previously worked as a teacher, Morgan is passionate about working with kids. She enjoys volunteering at her daughters’ elementary school and substitute teaching when she can.

Now, she’s thrilled to combine her love for children and sports at Set It Off Volleyball, where she can inspire the next generation of athletes.

  • Molly Lukenbill

    Treasurer & Board Member

Molly lives in West Des Moines with her husband and four children.

Molly was raised in Akron, Ohio — birthplace of sports legends LeBron James and Steph Curry. She hopes to follow this legacy and is pursuing an adult figure skating career.

Molly is an attorney and is excited to continue her children’s interest in volleyball. Noticing a void in West Des Moines youth volleyball, Molly is excited to work with Set It Off to bring volleyball to more children in the area.

Molly also wants to increase volleyball access to boys who may not know that volleyball is available to them.
