Exciting News: Set It Off Volleyball is Officially Incorporated!

We are thrilled to announce that Set It Off Volleyball has officially incorporated in Iowa as a CODE 504 Revised Domestic Non-Profit! This is a significant milestone in our journey to provide high-quality volleyball opportunities for young athletes in the West Des Moines area.

Incorporating as a non-profit solidifies our commitment to fostering skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship for girls 12 and under. It also sets the foundation for the exciting work we have ahead.

What’s Next for Set It Off Volleyball?

With incorporation behind us, we’re now preparing for our first board meeting, where we will tackle several important next steps:

1. Filing for Federal Tax-Exempt Status:
   This crucial step will enable us to operate as a recognized 501(c)(3) organization, allowing us to expand our fundraising efforts and further support our mission.

2. Planning for Our Fall/Winter 2025 Season:
   We’re already looking ahead to what will be our inaugural season, focusing on building teams, scheduling events, and creating a season structure that ensures a positive experience for all participants.

3. Strategizing for a Strong Start:
   From governance to operational plans, we’ll ensure that the foundation we’re laying will support the long-term success of Set It Off Volleyball.
